ABS Dealer Management System (ABS DMS) is directly integrated with other Automotive Business Solution (ABS) modules and it enables to control a network of dealers for one or more car brands.

ABS DMS Core

Core module is mandatory module which contains functionalities necessary for all other modules. This add-on granule consists of the following functionalities:

• Automotive tables and LOV’s structure (make, model, colours, etc.)
• Spare parts tables and LOV’s structure
• Other necessary tables and LOV’s structure
• Basic LOV’s values (makes, etc.)
• Car cards, car description cards, etc.
• Purchase and payable documents connections
• Margin VAT calculations
• Detail VIN navigation

ABS DMS New cars

ABS DMS New cars module is designed especially to support dealers trade and business processes. Module is optimized from Dealer processes point of view. Module consists of the following functionalities:

• Car configuration (car configuration according to imported price lists)
• Standard and extra car equipment configuration
• Special equipment packages – Item + work package (e.g. defend lock + installation, GPS + installation, etc.). You could use this package e.g. within selling order and system automatically creates service order for defend lock car etc.
• Purchase and selling documents connections
• Claim connection (you could create claim from car buying /selling process)
• Service connection (you could create service order from new car selling process – e.g. PDI)
• Contract documents print out
• Detailed discounts tracking

Car tracking card - system is based on a basic unit – car tracking card which serves to record detailed information about parameters of a given car. All particular and service cases including their history are recorded in the car tracking card. Further on there is an evidence of all operations with
a car (purchase, sale, customs, purchase costs, PDI, warranty service, warranty check, spare parts and service work) in the car tracking card.

Condition of a car – system enables possibility to monitor cars from the order via production and transport to purchase and sale to end customer including further service.

Possibility to monitor more car brands in one system – ABS DMS can be used for current work with unlimited number of car brands within all dealer modules.

Car configuration – system enables comfortable car configuration directly in the system with sequence to all other dealer’s processes (order, production, purchase, sale, and invoice) with possibility of connection to www configuration.

List of vehicles – system helps you and show you vehicles in your system sorted according different (user defined) criteria.

Leasing car sales process – system allows sell cars through leasing process with automatic advanced payments processing.

General and easy definition of exteriors and interiors – system enables easy control of exteriors and interiors with import from the producer.

Cars monitoring according VIN in the system

• Costs and profit evaluation for each particular VIN and following link to analytical tools. Analyses according to chosen parameters (e.g. model, dealer, region, department, cost centre, etc.)

Calculation and accurate record of external purchase costs – calculation of accurate costs
for car purchase (e.g. transport customs, obligatory equipment, etc.).

Direct connection of ABS DMS module to fixed assets – in case of inclusion of a car in stock into fixed assets.

Discounts and price policies – ABS DMS enables a breakup of total selling discount of cars to partial parts according to form of provided selling discount e.g. campaign discounts, fleet discounts, dealer’s profit margins, etc.

Monitoring of bonuses to particular cars – a direct link to individual conditions of each car supplier can be created. It is possible to monitor bonus policy and make analyses in detail.

Monitoring of credit frames of particular customers – system monitors automatically credit frame of particular customers, possibility of warning or block during their overdraft. Possibility to setup independent credit frames for cars and spare parts sale.

Wizards for records creation (contacts, customers, etc) – system contains intuitive wizard for creation of new records into system. There is a possibility to setup obligatory fields and filling order of particular fields. Wizards are significant support of efficiency (workflow) and quality within data the system.

Car reservation – car reservation for particular end customers with possibility to set time of reservation validity, maximal number or booked cars etc.

Communication with producer or importer – communication enables electronic data exchange between business partners with possibility to conform communication interface to systems
of particular producers and importers.

Cars transfers between locations – system enables collective cars transfers between locations according to chosen criteria with possibility to use monitoring of temporal locations during the journey (car transports).

Distant access (Web) - on-line car configuration by dealers in importer database with direct link to reservations and orders.

New Cars connection to Service – system helps you create service order directly within car sales process e.g. presales car preparation – PDI etc.

Used car card – it provides general information about technical parameters and business and bookkeeping operations in one place.

Individual business case – operations with used car are recorded as an individual business case. If the car is bought and sold in the database as new and later on bought as used, the statistics of a car or of particular business cases is possible.

Used Car reservation – system enables opportunity make used car reservation for particular end customers with possibility to set time of reservation validity together in advanced payment process etc. You have also very good possibility monitor all reservations in system.

Contra account –  possibility of used car purchase by contra account during new car purchase.

ABS DMS Service manages and controls service department and set up and optimize service pricing system. Manage connection with invoices and warranty claims. Following functionalities inside:

Service orders – are key service element. Through Service orders we support all service processes and also all parts in service module are connected with Service orders.

Through Service orders you could collect or provide following information e.g.

• Addition/collection of vehicle
• Open Service order monitoring (for customer or VIN)
• Invoices based on service types (normal, internal, warranty, etc.)
• Service Item (e.g. vehicle) in / out

Planning and dispatching – system will help you with management all service operations through Service offers / Service orders or service capacity planning. You could plan all service dates
and operations avoid service department overload.

Dispatching board also contains service offers plan connected with scheduler. Scheduler allows you plan all service offers with connection to service orders avoid service operations overload.

Warranty reports processing - manual and automatic creation of warranty reports from service orders of cars under guarantee. Electronic communication with importer, linked to invoicing
and payments.

Evidence of car activation – electronic information transfer to importer about car sale to end customer.

Service actions - evidence of service actions from importer and definition of their own actions. Automatic control of all actions connected with cars in service order. Link to evidence of carried out actions.

Standard and enlarged car guarantees – system enables evidence of guarantees to a car.

Spare parts reservation – it is possible to book spare parts in stock not only in spare parts module but also in service module and other system modules.

Service recalls – system helps you prepare, file and evaluate service recalls for vehicles.

Service capacities – service orders management with reference to accessible capacity of worker and branches.

Service invoicing – from one service order it is possible to issue more invoices of various types (external, guarantee, internal etc.). You are allowed define own invoice types.

Service pricelists – various types of service pricelists with reference to service needs, divided according to type of work and car brands.

ABS DMS Tires storage

ABS DMS Tires storage module consists of the following main functionalities

• Tires evidence and stock
• Tires place on your stock
• Other modules connection

ABS DMS Rental

ABS DMS Car rent module serves for evidence of rent cars, reservation of car rents and well arranged management of particular leasing contract types.

• Car groups (e.g. A, B, C, D, etc.)
• Cars price lists according groups and other criteria

• Long term rents evidence – you could rent a car for a year. You will sign a contract and then you will receive only invoice every month. There is a special evidence for these rents

Rental car card – is basic unit in module. This card is connected with other ABS modules like car tracking card for repeat inputs elimination.

Tariff groups – are defined by users. You could define basic segments of your rental cars based on these tariff groups. This user defined settings enables you set up system according your requirements. Tariff groups are directly connected with financial module.

Various types of contracts – evidence of various types of contracts of lease e.g. short term, long term.

Pricelists – system enables to record various types of pricelist of rent. You are also allowed setup pricelist by tariff groups.

Car administration – module has a direct link to other parts of the system e.g. long term property. There is no duplication of entered data.

Calendar of available cars – monitoring of available cars with possibility of on-line reservations via the Internet.

Calendar – it serves to display the situation about borrowed cars and reservations.

Long term rents – system supports long term rents also in connection with financial module and automatic invoicing.

Analysis tools and reports - With internal analysis tools and report you are allowed evaluate all parts of rental business processes e.g. vehicles utilization etc.

 

ABS DMS Petty Cash

ABS DMS Petty Cash module is used for spare parts selling to end customers with direct connection to all other modules. Module consists of the following functionalities:

• Spare parts connection (e.g. reservation)
• Cars connection (e.g. reservation)
• Special customer prices and discounts
• Selling advancements connection
• Financial invoices preparation

ABS DMS Attendance system for Service module – evidence of actions in orders via link to attendance system.

Module enables:

• Evidence record into orders in real time
• By barcodes and electronic chips it is possible to record service operations in real time, particularly for each part of order separately

Attendance analysis and reports – you could evaluate employee attendance through user defined codes or other parameters.
